Media

If you upload images to the website, you should only upload content you have the rights to. It is advised that you avoid uploading images with metadata including embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included as this may be able to be downloaded by others.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

Event and Volunteer registration

The data you submit as part of the march registration or volunteer registration process is required so that we may effectively plan for your participation in Glasgow’s Pride events and activities. The data you provide will not be shared out with the Organising committee unless otherwise essential with delivery partners. If you supply any incorrect information and wish to have this corrected, you can do so by contacting info@mardigla.org and supplying the original details along with any correction from the email address which we have registered for you.

How long we retain your data

If you provide information or upload any files, your data will be held for up to 7 years of the purpose of submission.

Exceptions are for social media purposes and digital media content which will be held indefinitely and will be the responsibility of the social media platform and the content provider.

This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
